What I checked
The official Triple Research description confirms three simultaneous technologies instead of the default one, with each still costing RP. allthings.how and Roonby describe the research menu and multi-day projects. allthings.how names GPS, Micro USB, and RoboOS as useful early choices. The official device list is not a complete tech tree or a proven mandatory unlock sequence.
For the correct game and starting resources, see the game overview and reported codes.
Where research points come from
- allthings.how describes seated researchers generating RP automatically. Roonby describes researchers and points replenishing over time. No production rate is established; see desk limit for workstation capacity.
- Reported code rewards: 60, 30, 60, and 90 points. Those totals are on the codes page and are not redeemed here.
- Goal cash is confirmed by the official text. Goal research points are not.
- A group bonus of 90 points is a single-article claim. Unconfirmed.
Early research choices: match the next device
Options reported by allthings.how, not a required three-step order or a complete tree.
| Choice | Use in the reported example | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| RoboOS | OS in the sample early phone; article says it needs research | Relevant when using that sample OS |
| Micro USB | Charging socket in the sample and a named early study | Relevant when that port is part of the design |
| GPS | Named as a useful early study | Optional feature choice, not a proven prerequisite for every launch |
| Next display or memory technology | Roonby recommends useful technology for the upcoming phone | Prioritize a meaningful upgrade rather than a same-technology clone |
What to queue
allthings.how names GPS, Micro USB, and RoboOS as early studies for the sample first phone. RoboOS is required for that example, so it cannot be skipped if you copy the build on the beginner guide.
Roonby recommends researching the technology the next phone needs rather than spending points randomly. The official description names later device categories without proving a required order or giving their unlock years. The device catalog separates those categories from the example phone parts.
The official API lists Triple Research at 99 Robux for three technologies at once instead of one; each still costs RP. Lab Grant is listed at 79 Robux for permanent +20% research points. Auto-Research is listed at 79 Robux with no description, so its behavior is not inferred. See the official pass catalog. These are developer descriptions, not our purchase tests.

FAQ
Can I research two things at once?
The official Triple Research description says it raises the default one project to three simultaneous technologies. Each still costs research points. The listed price was 99 Robux on 24 October 2026; no pass was purchased for this guide.
Do sales give research points?
No source I used says sales convert directly into research points. Researchers and some rewards do.
What year unlocks laptops?
The official list includes laptops. It does not attach a calendar year or a point cost. I am not inventing one.
