What I checked
The page template requests Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and two Adsterra placements on a first visit. Reject stores a withdrawal for 180 days and reloads the page without those loaders. This cannot undo requests already sent. YouTube loads only when you press Play video.
Default load, one clear switch
This guide is free. To keep it free, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads load on your first visit without waiting for you to press Accept. The banner is a notice and a withdrawal switch, not a gate: Accept keeps the default, Reject turns the analytics, recordings and ads off for 180 days, and Cookie settings in the footer brings the choice back.
We store an explicit choice in your browser under the localStorage key bape_consent_v1 as {"choice":"accepted"|"rejected","ts":<timestamp>}. An untouched notice is not stored as acceptance. Vendors receive consent signals but this site has no separate consent-record endpoint. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC), we treat it as Reject and do not load these vendors.
Google Consent Mode v2 starts before configuration with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied, analytics_storage granted, and ads_data_redaction enabled. These Google signals do not gate the separate Adsterra requests. Only an explicit OK updates the ad signals to granted. Reject also denies analytics_storage, disables GA4, and reloads without the three vendor loaders.

Storage varies by browser and vendor response
The site-owned keys below are defined in our code. Vendor identifiers are possible examples, not a claim that every browser receives each cookie. Blocking, consent settings and vendor responses change which keys are written. A failed ad request may write nothing. Inspect your browser storage for the actual values; no cookie values are collected in this policy.
Cookies and localStorage keys
| Name | Set by | What it does | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| localStorage bape_consent_v1 | This site | Stores accepted or rejected plus a timestamp | 180 days or until you clear it |
| localStorage bape_ads_bar_closed | This site | Remembers that you hid the floating Social Bar | Until you clear site data |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes browsers for aggregate reports | 2 years |
| _ga_1BJRM121JE | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps the session state for this property | 2 years |
| _clck | Microsoft Clarity | Persists the Clarity user id and preferences | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Joins page views into one recording session | 1 day |

| CLID | Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the Clarity installation that saw the browser | 1 year |
| Campaign cookies or localStorage (names vary) | Adsterra and campaign partners, if returned | Ad delivery, frequency limits and fraud checks | Vendor-dependent; we do not assert an unmeasured lifetime |
| VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE | YouTube | Remembers the player layout after you press Play | 180 days |
| YSC | YouTube | Registers a unique view of a video | Session |
| PREF | YouTube | Stores player preferences such as volume | 8 months |
Advertising, personalization and opt-outs
Adsterra serves the two placements named above. Adult ads are switched off on the Adsterra website, so the units are not configured for adult creative. We do not run Popunder, Banner or Smartlink units on this site.
You can turn personalized advertising off, or object to it, with these industry and vendor pages: Adsterra privacy at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/ , the DAA opt-out at https://optout.aboutads.info/ , the European choice page at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ , and Google ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ . Microsoft privacy settings are at https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/ . Google’s analytics opt-out add-on is at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout .
Reject is the site switch that stops future vendor loads after the reload. It cannot recall data already sent and does not delete all previously set vendor cookies. Clearing this site’s choice record alone is not an opt-out: it returns the site to default-on. Keep the rejected record, or block requests using browser settings.
Retention, rights and contact
The choice record is honored for 180 days; after expiry the notice and default-on behavior return. We have not independently audited each vendor account’s server-side retention configuration, so we do not promise a specific event or recording lifetime. Vendor privacy policies govern their server-side retention.
You can email [email protected] to ask about this policy, object to processing, request deletion of correspondence, or correct a page. Messages are processed through Cloudflare Email Routing and the mail-hub inbox, with a copy in the operator's Gmail mailbox. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive material. Browser choice records stay on your device; retaining a rejected record prevents the default loaders from returning.
The site has no account system or first-party behavioral-profile database. Advertising and analytics vendors process browser data as described above; this page does not characterize that processing as consent merely because a notice was shown. This policy changes by editing this page and its updated date; the contact page uses the same address.

FAQ
Do you load ads before I press Accept?
Yes, by default. GA4, Clarity and the two Adsterra units load on the first view. Accept keeps that; Reject removes them and is remembered for 180 days.
What is bape_consent_v1?
The localStorage key that stores accepted or rejected, plus a timestamp, for 180 days.
How do I hide the floating ad bar?
Press Hide ad bar on the bar. The site stores bape_ads_bar_closed in localStorage, so the bar does not return on reload.
Does Reject stop everything?
It reloads without GA4, Clarity or Adsterra loaders for 180 days. It cannot undo earlier requests. YouTube still loads if you deliberately press Play.
What happens if I clear the choice record?
The next visit uses default-on behavior and shows the notice again. Clearing storage is not the same as choosing Reject.
